Schools Competition

The NZ Investment Game and Massey University will again be holding the Investment Game Schools Competition in 2011.

Schools Competition - 1 July 2010

On Thursday 1st July, eight schools from the North Shore competed for team and individual prizes.  The competition was hosted by Massey University and held at their Albany campus.

The four finalists (with Frank Newman) were: (from left to right):  Sherilyn Pavis (Westlake Girls College), Justin Kuscholke (Rangitoto College), Ben Park (Rangitoto College) and Adam McLeely from Orewa College.

First:  Adam McLeely (Orewa College)
Second: Ben Park (Rangitoto College)
Third: Justin Kuscholke (Rangitoto College)
Top school Rangitoto College. Team members: Ben Park, Justin Kuscholke, Michael Wiehahn, Luke Boyle. 
First (plate): Michael Decaney (Northcote College)
Highest score: $2.6m, Luke Boyle (Rangitoto College)

In all there were 13 players that scored more than $1m in a 90 minute game, an outstanding achievement.
